Travel plan
Full itinerary, hour by hour
Day 1
Fez → Ifrane → Midelt
Half-day drive with cedar forest and mountain stops; overnight in Midelt area.
Day 2
Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
Gorge viewpoints and palm groves; sunset camel trek and night in the desert camp.
Day 3
Merzouga circuit
Sunrise on the dunes, then Khamlia, nomads and black desert; comfortable riad night.
Day 4
Merzouga → Fez
Return with unhurried breaks; evening drop-off in Fez.
