Photos + quick explanation of the region’s geography and local livelihoods.
10:30 – Forest zone arrival (cedars area, season-dependent)
Easy walk options (15–40 min) on safe, simple paths; time for quiet nature and photography.
11:30 – Optional local stop
Small roadside stalls for regional products (honey, nuts, seasonal fruit) depending on what’s available.
12:30 – Arrive a Middle Atlas town
Free time to stroll a main street/market area and enjoy the mountain-town atmosphere.
13:15 – Lunch break (60–75 min)
Meal not included. Options for tagine/grills/salads depending on preference.
14:45 – Afternoon scenic loop
Second nature stop (lake/viewpoint/forest road) chosen by weather and road conditions.
15:45 – Tea/coffee break (15–20 min)
Short rest before returning.
16:15 – Return drive to Fez
Relaxed ride with photo stops if requested and time allows.

Fez sights before leaving: the old medina (Fès el-Bali), leather tanneries, madrasas (Bou Inania/Al Attarine), city gates and souks.
Olive groves and farmland as you head out of the Fez plain.
Foothills rising into the Middle Atlas with cooler air and wider valleys.
Ifrane area: very clean “alpine-style” town, gardens, and in winter sometimes snow.
Cedar forests (near Azrou): tall Atlas cedars; you may see Barbary macaques (wild monkeys).
Mountain scenery: pine/oak forests, rocky slopes, viewpoints, and small Amazigh (Berber) villages.
Lakes (seasonal/route-dependent): around the region you can find spots like Dayet Aoua and other mountain lakes.
